Makin Movies
Makin’ Movies was co-founded by Maureen Judge and focuses on documentaries and series television. Recently, the company produced, in co-production with the NFB, the theatrical documentary FLicKeR, which garnered the Special Jury Prize for Canadian Feature Documentary at Hot Docs, 2008.
Makin’ Movies also produced the highly acclaimed vérité documentary trilogy: the Genie Award-winning Unveiled: The Mother Daughter Relationship; In My Parents’ Basement; and Mom’s Home (currently in post-production). For series television, Makin’ Movies was the executive producer of the performance/documentary series, Heart of a Poet and the documentary series, Family Secrets.
