What is a pitch?

A quick presentation of work you'd like to show a potential buyer.

Why is a pitch event beneficial?

A pitch event gives writers the opportunity to present their work to several industry professionals and like wise gives industry professionals the opportunity to hear presentations from several writers.

Who will be listening to the pitches?

Agents, producers, development directors from broadcast and film distribution companies.

How do the pitch sessions work?

At the allotted time, the writers will join the industry professionals in the same room, sit one on one at their table and pitch for five minutes. There will be a volunteer who will let everyone know when their time is up and the next group of writers will trade places with the first group.
